'Purple Haze'
The guitar image was taken at the memorial at Jimi Hendrix' grave site in Renton, WA and was blended with an image of smoke (from a sparkler) drifting in front of a purple cloth.
Both images were edited in PS: the guilar was extracted with the magic wand tool and glowing edges filter applied; the purple color of the smoke was enhanced with the color replacement tool; the overlay blend was used to merge the images.
