I went out to shoot the eclipse. I had read online to start at F11, which I did, but I had to experiment quite a bit to find a decent setting to capture the moon while darkened out. I did also catch a few shots of stars, while facing the other way from the eclipse, since the sky was darker. I experimented in lightroom with some of Ricky's edits from this weeks lesson, however, I didn't think they added to the photo, so I reset the image back to how it was captured.

  • Had to decide between this red wolf moon and some earlier shots through the clouds. Clouds made some interesting effects.

Brian, read the same f11 rabbit hole. I did best when experimenting and thinking it through. Keep it up, you are on the right path.

Your picture makes it seem you could reach out your hand to touch the moon!
