Grass reeds along the shore of Medicine Lake. Slow shutter, ICM, LR adjustments and spot removal (a few specks on my lens tried to join in).

on June 12, 2022Selected for critique: Carol, I find this pan of still reeds/grasses to be magical. As mentioned in the video lesson, finding that fine line between barely blurred (which looks like a camera shake mistake) and too much blur (so we lose the details and can't connect with the subject) to be a challenge - but a fun one. I like how the water has overexposed enough to create that floating white background.

on June 3, 2022I think this is such a beautiful shot in so many ways...the movement, the colors, the serenity, the absolute simplicity.

on June 3, 2022Carol, I like the placement of the reeds, with that open space on the left. Your photo has a quietness about it because of the minimal color scheme and the background that does not distract. So beautiful!

on June 1, 2022This looks like a peaceful painting.....the softness of both grasses and their reflection give a strong vertical line against the strongly contrasting background.

on June 1, 2022This is a great photo. It looks sharp but yet you can see a slight blur. It is a peaceful looking photo!
