I spotted this abandoned 1930's International truck in an industrial yard and thought it was perfect for this weeks class project. I took quite a few pictures of the entire truck but went with this one as I loved the look of the front wheel and its shredded tire.

on March 9, 2019Selected for critique: I don't want this comment to be as if it is a 100% "thing", but I like how Andrew framed this close. Instead of giving us the entire abandoned vehicle, he selected a tighter framing and composed is in such a way that we scan the image. The car is framed along the top - the tire is by far the center of attention - and there is a nice bit of breathing room along the bottom of the image. The grill, light, and bumper help tell the story but don't dominate. As I look at this, I feel that is could have a slight - very slight - exposure increase to give it a bit more presence.
